This is just panic regarding SaaS, completely exaggerated, companies like XERO have a moat loads of busnesses use them and they are cheap, no business is even interested in replicating this what will it save the 50 GBP a mopnths, it provides enormous help to business and is the largest provider in the UK and ANZ. How will ai help it will need servers and need secure systems as I dont want all my business transactions in the public domain.
AI will be leveraged by business like Xero allowing you to do more with its products and keep your info safe
