RECEIPT OF FURTHER 1% OR MORE ACCEPTANCES UNDER TAKEOVER OFFER
1. I refer to the Christchurch City Holdings Limited (CCHL) takeover offer to
acquire all of the ordinary shares in Lyttelton Port Company Limited (LPC)
that CCHL does not already own (the Offer).
2. In accordance with Rule 49A of the Takeovers Code, CCHL advises that it
has now received acceptances of the Offer in respect of a further 1% or more
of the total LPC ordinary shares on issue.
3. CCHL has to date received acceptances in respect of 18,392,283 LPC
ordinary shares. This constitutes 17.986% of the total LPC ordinary shares
on issue.
