Wouldn't we all Glad
Few of us have been waiting a while here this in 2017, I personally have this as one of my largest holdings....Only need one or two big winners a year I hope this is one of them. But always preparing for the worst too.
I remember last year it was IAM & CR8 for me, I know you were on both of them too..very early on aswell, lets see if history repeats again?
I finally feel its trading near fair value for Halls Peak/Adrah progress so far. Ofc with more info on those assets should move higher. But with acquisition looming if they get it in the right sector its hella cheap still.
Right sectors for me rn is:
Lithium - ETF's moving to new highs, Lithium Carbonate price also moving into new highs (5% move last month. $4500USD/Tonne -> $13,000USD/Tonne over the year. SQM taking stake in KDR, Big 4 Lithium producers taking stakes in DRC projects, consolidation occuring recently in the sector, AVZ going bezerk, few other asx players showed life last month.
Cobalt - In a wiggle again, but the stars are aligned here. Lots of supply risk, plenty of scenarios pointing to higher prices. Spot price up 136%+ over the year. Sovereign risk. Market should show plenty love to a Canadian/European play or a high grade DRC play (>1% rock samples or >0.1% RC drills)
Copper - Broken out into new highs. Spot price up 30% over the year. Coppers a great conductor so not only is it needed for EV batteries but also EV motors, charging stations, charging points etc.
Other wildcard sectors:
Zinc - Holding up quite well near 5year highs, if it breaks I suspect rally will be on. Perhaps a slightly more patient sector
Vanadium - Spot price has shot up 70% over the week in China. Also speculative future mineral for the EV movement.
