...perhaps that's what he was thinking about @LearningEachDay. You know I disagreed with the allotment issue to Dr Rose unless MSB had the use of the subscription funds (i.e. the $1.5m) from the time of the announcement in March & pending the AGM (which I don't believe it did). But the allotment was ratified at the AGM. So be it. And that's when I would have celebrated, if I were Eric (I'm not, unfortunately).
So perhaps it was just that it was 8:30PM Eastern Standard Time in the US, & you know what it can be like in Maryland at the end of a long day.
As CMO he'd just spearheaded the MSB approval team, knew it was over the line, but had to wait and wait (to give the CEO the assurance that everything was OK) until, just a few hours earlier, he had - along with Phil Krause and the rest of the BLA team - seen the FDA's formal website announcement & taken delivery of the FDA's formal letter confirmation of Mesoblast's marketing approval. I'll bet there was more than one US team member crawling into a cab in the early hours following the webcast.
I'm going to go with the latter - and BTW he seemed pretty lucid & intelligible IMO later in the call when he laid out some good detail on planning.
