If Cairns is such a good geo, why have they been doing nothing but redrilling previously drilled ground for over a year? As for Thursdays Gossan, it may become economically viable when copper hits $6, but that’s just one piece of the puzzle in place…. They still haven’t even got access to the ground east of the resource to do exploration… let alone digging an open pit next door to them. It’s going to have to be a lot more than just an economic proposition for it to have even the slightest chance of getting approval to mine there.
