I have no inside knowledge.. but did hear that despite very strong futures prices a while back that ships of cotton were being dispatched from Oz and not knowing their final destination, such was the cotton market at the other end

now I had tended to doubt that as I thought a whole shipload of cotton would be unlikely as they used to use containers chiefly; but they have been using a bulk method using woodchip carriers or such like...I don't really know the details
