Not surprising considering the way Cairns has been selling it as a “new discovery opportunity”, when in reality it’s already part of the Thursdays Gossan resource and they have been drilling in that spot for three or four years and the surrounds since the company was floated. Seems to me they are trying to line up a “directors special” with a new hole designation so they can spin it as a high grade discovery. It is extension drilling…. It’s pretty obvious that mineralisation continues from Thursdays Gossan to Junction. And there’s every chance that depth extension of the known mineralisation is possible over the entire distance…. My gripe is the way they are selling it! Why not just tell it like it is? That they’ve picked a high grade spot they have known about for ten years and they are drilling it hoping to find an extension of the mineralisation!
