Why would I want to participate in the SPP if I wanted more shares............I can now buy them cheaper on the market place anyway.
Whilst the "big boys" seem to have got-in ahead of retail shareholders, the company was able to raise the necessary funds easier and cheaper by doing the capital raise in the manner they have done. The SPP is a token gesture to simply keep faith with the "little guy".
