The difficulty is that the information about the other routes is basic as there was little mention of it in the EIS or looked at by the IPC. But the route using 7km of the railway corridor and then upgrading the current 66kv line to Breakfast Creek and then a new transmission line to across private land would be about be about 35km. So similar kms.

I mentioned underground because it stated in the optimisation report that the line would be a combination of above and below ground. My assumption was that it is a way to better preserve bio-sensitive areas, so may be used for that purpose.
