JPMorgan earns twice by lending 30.8 million shares to short sellers and collecting lending fees for it. It doesn't matter whether the price rises or falls. At the same time, their investment division holds 1.2 million shares as a genuine stake, which generates profit when the price rises. If DroneShield reports strong Q4 results, short sellers will have to buy back their borrowed shares to limit losses. Since 66% of JPMorgan's position is on loan, a sudden buyback pressure could quickly drive the price upward.
