Allco Finance Group may defer publication of its December 2007 financials again today, the Financial Review reported. Allco had been due to publish its half-year profit on Friday but postponed them until today. The ASX suspended trading in the firm's shares last week.
The Financial Review also reports that Allco's board is "seeking a cash injection worth hundreds of millions of dollars through the sale of an equity stake in the company."
Asset sales - including, potentially, of some of the firm's most lucrative and long-standing leasing businesses - are also under negotiation (as reported by the Financial Review and other media late last week).
