    Thanks @shovel40, @Fiji1, @uncleBuck, @JohnI and morning crew.

    Half-time wrap:
Aussie shares pushed for their first gain in three sessions as fresh highs in copper and silver helped offset negative leads from Wall Street.
The ASX 200 firmed 25 points or 0.29% by mid-session.
Resource stocks did much of the heavy lifting. The energy sector led with a rise of 1.4% after crude prices responded positively to Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian energy assets. Copper miner South32 reached an eight-month high. Precious metal miners were mixed as profit-taking set in after yesterday's surge.
Wall Street's five-session win streak ended overnight as rising bond yields and a sharp sell-off in crypto unsettled investors. The S&P 500 reversed 0.53%.

Personal trading: This market looks knackered. Everything I touch goes to sleep. Volumes desperately weak outside of the latest hot zones.
