It's a long answer which requires a different forum than this one. Basically, WWII left Greece in total disarray what with different groups vying for power: Royalists, Communists and Capitalist to name but a few. English, Yanks and Russians were using Greeks to fight their battles.
Everything in the country was flatened by the bombs. Australia needed factory fodder so they invated many countries (European only, thanks to the white australia policy) to come on down. So the Greeks did. The greater majority voted ALP because they were poor. Some (two bob millionaires) voted Lib.
These days, however, particularly since Bob Hawke's allegiance to the Zionists and his sell out to the Dirty (and corrupt) rich as well as the turning of his back to the worker, greeks saw every consecutive Labor Govnt as corrupt. They thought Keating would do a bit of a switch but he, too, disappointed them. What the Greeks see now is that the LIBs and the ALPs are in cahoots with the one party that runs the world: Sharon's.
When you see idiots like Rudd spitting out venom against anyone who has any comment to make against the zionists, when he tears up the UN resolution in public, you know who is going to win the next election and why. The greeks don't vote for institutions which can be run by anyone. The vote for justice:pure, simple and obvious. They want no surprises and shifty changes of laws. They vote for him or her who speaks the truth.
It's a very simply answer but it's all I can do in such short a space.
