Bellcurve, if you read above, it's warming at 0.13c per decade. All of it is due to natural variability. Every warming period corresponds with El Nino, every cooling period is La Nina or volcanic eruptions, the 2 eruptions in the satellite record with 1983 and 1991. The Pinatubo eruption in 1991 masked a 3 year El Nino event. Think about that for a minute, even the El Nino couldn't warm temperatures because of the SO2 in the stratosphere. And what did the SO2 do? Take a guess?
