ok - so if you are confined to bed - can't move, can't do anything - not even eat - your food comes in a tube and you can't communicate - nothing

how, pray tell is your 20 Billion dollars going to make you happy? :)

Lets face facts here - money is only any good if you can use it to do things you want to do and are able to do.

If you are unable to do things - or you have nothing you want to do --------------- all the money on the planet means diddly squat.

My guess is that when you say - all I want is money -

you are taking it as a given that you have good health, good mental state, time to enjoy things etc. etc.

Money can buy some of that - IF you are lucky - and many things it can't buy - like time.

Money can be always acquired - and, fairly easily -------------- many other things just cannot be bought - eg. time, determination, health (only partially), happiness (yep, read it again - happiness CANNOT be bought - you can get a temporary facade perhaps at best).

the list in the OP was actually pretty good.

One lesson in life -------------- money follows - it almost never leads.
