There's so many here that simply DO NOT have a clue when it comes to drugs, legal or illegal and that is a worry- EDUCATE!
And no Chippy, I do NOT drive within 24hrs of having a bong or spliff because you see I do NOT smoke the herb, atm. I have in the past and I will again in the future. Iv'e never been addicted to weed or any of the other illegal drugs but I was once highly addicted to one of the most filthy of drugs and a true killer it is. That drug was the very legal drug called tobacco. May 2007 was when I went cold turkey and I haven't looked back since.
Speed, cocaine, LSD and magic mushrooms have been tasted by me in the past. I'm a very curious person and so I've had a taste of this and that but I can assure everyone here that I haven't yet seen meth in real life never mind try it, same goes for heroin and MDA . Some here have mentioned pot as a gateway drug but that was never the case for me. Tobacco was my gateway drug to cannabis 40 years ago. Tobacco needs to be banned as its far more hideous than pot will ever be but as you all know it's still readily available to anyone of any age so go figure. There's no need for me to mention that other hideous drug alcohol as most of you out there consume it and know very well about all the dangers of abuse with that one.
It does truly boggle my mind that we are allowed to get behind the wheel with alcohol in our system and yet thousands of motorists have ended up in the courts, losing their licenses, and in many case there jobs for having a choof 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 days before being tested. Testing motorists to only find a poofteenth of SFA THC in ones system is to me a crime!
All4one,
"Anybody who thinks they can use meths just once a week or when they want to is lying to themselves and you."I'm sorry to inform you champ but you are dead wrong. I actually know this can be the case, I see it and therefore I'm an actual witness to it. Do yourself a favour and read up of amphetamine use and the defence force(s).
"In my experience addicts are not to be trusted."
And I do agree wholeheartedly on that All40ne. The thing you're doing though is getting addiction confused with non-addiction, there's a huge difference mate. You have proven to me that you're one of those that simply DOES NOT have a clue when it comes to drugs, legal or illegal.
