This may have been asked before but if so I missed it.
Is Australia in line with overseas markets regarding the direct proportioning of super funds into nominated markets ie all shares, split shares and property, cash etc?
I must confess to being tardy in regards to effectively managing where my super goes. Currently all in shares Westpac managed(gulp).
As I understand it you can swap as often as you want to? Could someone confirm this.
If the rank and file are as slack as me then the markets must get some propping up by fund managers being forced to invest in stocks?
Basically lost all that was put in last year and now thinking that cash may be the safest haven and revert back when markets have stabilized.
Any feed back appreciated.
cheers
