I doubt any studies would have specifically analysed the benefits of ResAPP DX vis a vis stethoscope.

    But why would they?

As suggested within Australian Bio Technology Vol 25, 2015, "... traditionally, doctors have used stethoscopes to listen to the lungs as one of the first indications of a respiratory problem. If a doctor suspects one of the more serious respiratory diseases (such as pneumonia or bronchitis), they may follow up with additional tests such as X-rays, blood tests, CT scans and/ or pleural fluid cultures. For asthma and COPD, a spirometry test is normally performed."

And ResApp DX has been shown to provide superior results to some if not most of those tests stated above, other posters have mentioned similar.

So yes, I think you are correct that no study has been conducted for ResAPP DX against stethoscopes, but rather a comparative analyses has been conducted against tests that usually follow up a stethoscope diagnosis. Of which ResAPP DX has demonstrated to be a more accurate tool.
