    Hello fellow EXM'ers

I've got a bit of free time on my hands and i was re-reading the companies last Exploration Update.

I noticed they mentioned that the Nobles Nob hole and intersected moderate chlorite and magnetite mineralisation. I thought to myself, now why would they tell us that?

A quick Google search later, I stumbled upon a paper titled 'Proterozoic copper-gold deposits' and the area that it was based upon was Tennant Creek! Among the number of areas they studied at TC were Nobles Nob and Juno.

Now I won't be able to tell you what they say (because I have no idea what 90% of the stuff written in the report means) but from what I can understand, gold deposits in the area are primarily located in... magnetite chlorite mineralisation! That doesn't really surprise as we know that there's gold at Nobles Nob, but for the company to state they have intersected said mineralisation means there's a great likelihood that the hole(s) has struck gold.

The paper also states that the Proterozoic deposits generally display low tonnage but high grade deposits compared to other types of deposits.

Now I'm not sure if I've misinterpreted the paper, so if there's a resident geo in the house, I've love to hear what you think of it... or anyone else for that matter
