What a load of hogwash, air traffic control communications in all countries are carried out in either English or the native tongue of that countries airspace.

In other words, if you're a local you can talk and be understood in your own language, but if you're not you must have at least one designated communications officer (tech crew) who can speak English.

Goes without saying that the air traffic controllers of all countries are required to be able to speak English as well as the native tongue.

    This even goes for France!!!
