I have a friend who wishes to sell his personalized number plates. He asked me how much I thought they were worth and where would be the best place to sell them, I suggested Ebay or Amazon.com, possibly the newspapers but I am not aware of anywhere else he might get wide spread exposure, without dropping his daks :)
I don't have any idea how many plates would be in the market for this type of product. He tells me it costs $335 a year to keep the plates. The plates are NSW Yellow Plate with Black lettering, the letters are "GT" no numbers just the letters.
I would say that these plates are unique for NSW as you can only have one set of plates with any given number or letters combination.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of sale.
Any replies would be most welcome.
Cheers,
Fig Jam
P.S. No they are not my plates, my initials are PR as anyone who has emailed me are well aware
