With more than seven million users on the HotCopper forums, every discussion and speculation can move Australian markets, which is why getting out in front of those trends is so important for any trader worth their salt.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

In this daily HotCopper Trends column, we break down the top three stocks talked about on any given trade day, and why they’ve drawn a daily focus.

The top-trending ASX company on the forum threads today has been Boss Energy (ASX:BOE), with the uranium producer drawing eyes after sharing its quarterly reporting.

In the report, Boss confirmed it was on track to meet its 2026 guidance after clocking up a record September quarter; it’s landed “robust” free cash flow at its Honeymoon uranium project in South Australia already.

Markets loved the read: BOE has been +18.1% up.

Arafura Rare Earths (ASX:ARU) has landed on the HotCopper Trends podium for a second time in Week 44, following yesterday’s trading halt with news they’re staging a $475 million placement (already committed).

After unpausing, ARU has plunged -21% today. Some may just be profit-taking after the company’s +157% YTD returns; others may not like the raise.

And then finally, Stakk Limited (ASX:SKK) has found its way back into the most-discussed on the HotCopper forums on October 29. It landed a huge agreement with $7 billion U.S. fintech operator Chime this week.

Under this agreement, Stakk will supply Chime with components from its Embedded Finance solution, Stakk IQ. SKK has been +19% higher.

For the wider bourse, it’s been a red day, with shares down -0.96%. That follows a bludger of a CPI print that confirms the RBA will make no November cut.
