The first top-trender in Week 34 has been decided: HotCopper users have been watching 4DS Memory Ltd (ASX:4DS) all day after the semiconductor developer lifted the lid on “unexpected results” from its Sixth Platform Lot.

The news wasn’t the happiest from the $63M company, but 4DS shareholders liked it nonetheless – the stock jumped +10.7% through to Monday arvo.
The fact that the company seems to have solved the questions raised in electrical testing is the biggest reason for the leap; many Watchlisted it too.
Arafura Rare Earths (ASX:ARU) has also been heavily trending, though it has been a hot topic on HotCopper because it went into a trading halt at 9.20am. The “cryptic” brake-pull had some users tipping a 16c capital raise.
Many may be left disgruntled by a cap raise, considering ARU halted at 20cps.
