That flattish green close for the ASX would follow a flattish green night in Wall Street. The S&P500 ended up 0.20%; the NASDAQ up 0.76%.
On the ASX, after a week of scandal, Wisetech (ASX:WTC) founder Richard White has officially stepped down from the role.
Qantas (ASX:QAN) has unveiled a fuel bill well over A$2B, and, MinRes (ASX:MIN) remains under scrutiny as investors assess the impact of Chris Ellison’s bad behaviour.
In forex, the Aussie buying 66 US cents.
Looking at commodities which are in the greenback,
Iron ore is fetching just under $100/tn in Singapore,
Brent Crude has dipped to $74.50/bbl,
Gold prices appear to have pulled back to $2,720 per ounce after a technical rebound, and,
US natgas futures are fetching $2.51 per gigajoule.
