Good morning and a happy Tuesday. The ASX200 is set to trade flat for a second day with futures down -0.06% near 8.30am AEST.
We didn’t get Wall Street activity overnight given a trading holidays. Markets in Europe were equally directionless.
The STOXX Europe, German DAX, French CAC 40 and British FTSE all ended within flattish territory; none climbed or fell higher than a fifth of a percent.
In commodities where prices are in USD,
Iron Ore is fetching $96.95/tn in Singapore,
A barrel of Brent Crude is currently worth just over $77,
Gold is at $2,498 per ounce, and,
US natgas futures are fetching $2.17 per gigajoule.
In forex, the Aussie continues to buy 68 US cents.
