The ASX200 is down – but only just – at .12 of a per cent.
Utilities is up more than a per cent while real estate and discretionary is down just over half a per cent.

Sayona Mining (ASX:SYA) is making news this morning – the company is down more than 20 per cent on news dual ASX and NASDAQ-listed Piedmont Lithium (ASX:PLL) has sold off all of the remaining shares it holds in Sayona Mining.
Piedmont sold 1.152 billion shares priced at 5.2 cents a share – as it says the transaction underscores its commitment to deliver long-term value to its shareholders.
It’s also worth noting Sayona Mining is amongst the top-five most shorted ASX companies.
Sayona has been trading at 5 cents.
Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) is down 2 and a half per cent on its half-year results.
The household name saw its underlying profit before tax down 13 per cent to $1.25 billion and its statutory profit after tax was down 13 per cent to $869 million.
Investors were fearful as the airline said it expects capital expenditure to increase throughout FY25.
Qantas has been trading at $5.43.
ASX-listed dual uranium-lithium explorer Infini Resources (ASX:I88) has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer – Mr Paul Hughes – who will assume his role immediately.
Mr Hughes holds over 12 years’ experience in the construction and resources sector – and had previously led the Investment Analysis department at Pilbara Minerals.
I88 has been trading at 23.5 cents.
And Lithium Plus Minerals (ASX:LPM) is up more than 5 per cent despite falling lithium prices – as the company is planning to expand drilling beyond the Lei prospect at the Bynoe project in the Northern Territory.
RC drilling is scheduled immediately after the wet season.
LPM has been trading at 19.5 cents.
