Let’s just dive straight into it.

EV Resources – Antimony

  • EV Resources (EVR) has jumped +10% to 1.1cps as the company kicks off exploration at its Los Lirios project.
  • Los Lirios is a prospective high-grade antimony play with that critical metal on the radars of many, given Chinese export curbs hurt the market last year.
  • The metal is needed in defence applications and other high-tech end uses, which underscores the Western world’s need for domestic supply.
  • The company’s Los Lirios is 70% held by EVR and is located in Mexico.
  • EVR reports that exploration on the ground will be fast-tracked as it seeks to establish a pilot plant capable of processing 100tpd.

Redcastle Resources – Gold

  • Redcastle Resources (RC1) has jumped +12.5% to 0.9cps as it prepares to kick off the prefeas study process at its Queen Alexandra gold play.
  • The company says it will work to keep study costs low to preserve capital flexibility.
  • The company reports its board has already budgeted much of the process and that the acquisition of “critical data” will be prioritised to ensure the PFS gets over the line.
  • Redcastle is already in discussions with contract miners, toll processors and “other peers” to minimise CapEx where possible and shorten the timeframe to a positive FID.
