It is focused on the development and operation of coal mines in New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD). Its segments include NSW Operations and QLD Operations. It operates six mines (five open-cut and one large underground mine) in the Gunnedah Coal Basin of NSW and Bowen Basin of QLD. Its assets include Maules Creek Mine, Narrabri Mine, Vickery Extension Project, Werris Creek Mine, Gunnedah CHPP, Winchester South Project, Narrabri Stage-3 Extension Project, Rocglen Mine, Sunnyside Mine, Canyon Mine, Daunia Mine, and Blackwater Mine. Its development projects include the Vickery project, Winchester South project and the Narrabri Stage 3 Extension project. The Tarrawonga open cut mine produces high-quality thermal coal and semi-soft coking coal. Vickery Extension Project is a proposal to construct an open-cut coal mine and associated on-site infrastructure about 25 kilometers north of Gunnedah.More
