The Company has a 58.93% controlling interest in ASX-listed investment company Orion Equities Limited (Orion). The majority of Orion funds are invested in a portfolio of listed Australian and international companies and Australian property. The investment objectives of the Orion are to achieve a consistent high real rate of return, comprising both income and capital growth, whilst operating within acceptable risk parameters; deliver a regular income stream for shareholders in the form of franked dividends; and preserve and protect the capital of the Orion. Orion has interests in Bentley Capital Limited and Strike Resources Limited. Bentley Capital Limited is a listed investment company with exposure to Australian equities. Strike Resources Limited is a resource company.More
