Thames Water to Present Successes of Using Envirosuite at Global Conferences

Press Release 14 August 2018

Tuesday, August 14, 2018 - Environmental management technology company Envirosuite Limited (ASX:EVS) (‘Envirosuite’ or ‘the Company’) will be included in a case study presented by Thames Water in two upcoming conferences.

Thames Water will be presenting how it has successfully used Envirosuite for odour management at the 6th International Conference on Environment Odour Monitoring & Control in Italy and the AquaEnviro: Recent Advances in Odour Control Technologies Conference in the UK. Both conferences are being held in September and will be attended by key Envirosuite staff. Envirosuite’s General Manager of Europe Chaim Kolominskas will co present at the event in Italy.

“Having Thames Water present the success it has had with Envirosuite is a major validation of the effectiveness of our solutions,” Envirosuite CEO Peter White said. “These conferences will be attended by managers from UK and European water utility companies and industrial odour experts from all over the world. Many of the attendees will be new or potential clients.”

Thames Water will present a scientific paper that shows how Envirosuite is improving odour performance by using real-time monitoring of hydrogen sulphide and predictive weather modelling of odour risk and plant performance.

Following an initial commercial trial which completed in mid-2017, Thames Water has committed to using Envirosuite at a total of five sites. Thames Water is currently managing the performance of a recently upgraded Sewage Treatment Works and is aiming to reduce the number of properties in the area affected by odour by more than 99 per cent.

“We are very pleased to see that the UK’s largest water utility has been able to minimise odour impact on surrounding communities through the use of Envirosuite’s solutions,” Mr White said. “I’m sure that many of the conference attendees will be interested in hearing how they can also implement our solutions to achieve similar results.”

In addition to Thames Water, Envirosuite has won a number of contracts in the wastewater industry including trials with an additional two major UK water utilities, Welsh Water and Southern Water.  Both of these utilities are now trialing the Envirosuite solution (Environmental Compliance, Impact Management and Incident Intelligence).  If these trials are successful, then there is potential for the solution to be rolled out to multiple sites in both of those utilities, similar to the process seen at Thames Water.

“Wins in the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East this year show that Envirosuite is a natural fit within the wastewater industry,” Mr White said. Odour issues currently have a very high priority with regulatory authorities and these conferences and wins show the growing recognition and adoption of Envirosuite in this important sector.”

Envirosuite Wins Latin American Market Accelerator Program Award

Press Release 10 August 2018

Friday, August 10, 2018 - Environmental management technology company Envirosuite Limited (ASX:EVS) (‘Envirosuite’ or ‘the Company’) has won Australian-Latin American Market Entry Accelerator Program awards in both the Water Tech and People’s Choice categories.

Launched in late 2017, the LatAm accelerator program offers mentoring, introductions and pitching opportunities to assist Australian companies in exporting successfully to the Latin American market. The program invited 10 Australian companies to participate in a six-month mentoring program followed by a business pitch contest in Chile in April of this year.

Accelerator program founder John O’Brien said the Latin American market has many similarities to Australia and that judges looked for Australian technology companies with the greatest chance of building significant export markets in Latin America.

“This program offers immense opportunities in a market environment that is often overlooked,” Mr O’Brien added.

Envirosuite is already working with a range of high-profile companies in Australia including Veolia, Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton and last month secured its first contracts in Chile through its recently established Chilean office.

Peter White, CEO of Envirosuite, said the award win would help springboard the company into the Latin American market.

“This win in the accelerator program means we will receive further support to help us take our world-class product to Latin American companies. We signed our first two Envirosuite clients in Chile earlier this month, and we’re very excited about building this new market further,” Mr White said.

Envirosuite software enables companies to carry out real-time environmental monitoring and management so that they can meet their environmental obligations, minimise risk, and optimise their performance.

The Company’s first Latin American contract was with Chilean agriculture company and one of the world’s largest producers of poultry, Sopraval S.A. Envirosuite’s technology is being installed at five of Sopraval’s turkey farm sites to monitor environmental conditions and anticipate and manage impacts. The second contract is with Chilean agricultural giant Agrosuper. Envirosuite’s compliance and impact modelling solutions are being deployed across multiple Agrosuper sites.

The Australian-Latin American Market Entry Accelerator Program is supported by the Australian Government through the Council on Australia Latin America Relations. Staff from Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), the Queensland Government’s global business agency are now working with Envirosuite to identify additional potential Latin American clients.

Envirosuite’s Strong June Quarter Delivers 100% Increase in Annual Run Rate

ASX Announcement 20 July 2018

Quarter Highlights

  • 100% increase in Annual Run Rate (ARR) achieved in the past 12 months
  • ARR accelerating in the June quarter as sales team gains traction in new markets
  • Increasing inbound sales leads from refining marketing initiatives
  • Continued momentum in new geographic markets Latin America, focused in Chile
  • Breaking new ground with initial client wins in key industry verticals
  • Working with NASA on two cutting-edge projects

Environmental management technology company Envirosuite Limited (ASX:EVS) (‘Envirosuite’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that a strong June quarter has helped to deliver a one hundred per cent increase in the Annual Run Rate (ARR) since 1 July 2017.

Annual Revenue Run-Rate for the 2018 Financial Year*

The Company has decided to release its Annualised Recurring Revenue (ARR) figures for the EVS platform as part of this and future periodical sales updates.

ARR is the annualised current monthly subscriptions with any new wins adding directly to the ARR, and deducting any client attrition, noting that the churn rate during FY18 was less than 1.5%. In the past 12 months the ARR for the EVS platform has increased from circa $1.5 million to over $3.0 million.

New Envirosuite subscriptions signed since the release of the last update in April 2018:

As well as the new project wins listed above, the following clients have re-committed to the legacy Odowatch platform since the March quarter update. This is the first step in the migration of these clients to the Envirosuite platform:

CEO Update

The June quarter has seen a substantial increase in new subscriptions as the Company starts to move from a year of re-establishing itself as a pure technology company, to its next growth phase. The key contributors to the accelerating results have been the new sales team members engaged from November 2017 through to February 2018 coming up to speed following their initial lead-in times, and the steady migration of clients from the legacy Odowatch platform that was acquired by Envirosuite as part of the Odotech acquisition in December 2017.

Supporting the ARR has been the addition of several larger subscriptions that also reflect the Company’s growth in new markets and industry sectors. This includes several material subscriptions that were each announced to the market from May through to July including a Middle-East public works authority (announced 16 May 2018), Sopraval (2 July) and Agrosuper (16 July). The Envirosuite platform is being increasingly utilised across larger projects including city-wide regions, large agricultural operations, mines and port facilities, and as such there is no longer a ‘typical deal size’ across the group, although we are seeing some consistency within the different industry verticals.

It is very pleasing to see the new sales team members starting to gain traction. Given the sales lead times, it is expected that each new sales person requires around five months before their efforts translate to consistent financial outcomes. From November 2017 to March 2018 the size of the global sales team increased from three to twelve people and thus we expect the ARR to benefit from the increased sales resources and market focus from this point onwards.

We have doubled the ARR in the 2018 financial year and we will target to do the same in the 2019 financial year and then again in the 2020 financial year. Confidence in achieving the 100% growth rate is underpinned by the size and breadth of the market across our five targeted sectors with sales people established in six countries.

During FY18, based on our learnings to date, we have refined our go-to-market strategy for partner-led distribution of Envirosuite. We are intending to augment the existing partner network with companies that provide a total solutions focus including equipment, services or related software platforms.

We have also appointed a senior sales executive experienced in partner sales with the aim that the indirect channel will become the main generator of business in the mid-term future (three to five years). This is intended to enable the continued triple digit percentage revenue growth without the need to engage a proportionate number of direct sales people each year.

We are very excited to be moving into the new financial year with a growth mindset across the company and a strong momentum coming out of the last quarter. There has been an enormous amount of work behind the scenes over the past two years to get us to this point and we believe that the coming year will vindicate these efforts with strong and accelerating financial performance.

Envirosuite secures a major win in Chile

ASX Announcement 2 July 2018

Highlights

  • Envirosuite’s Chilean office has secured a major subscription with agriculture company Sopraval
  • Envirosuite will assist Sopraval in managing odour, dust and other air pollutants
  • Annualised recurring revenue of A$200,000 representing one of Envirosuite’s largest wins to date.
  • Envirosuite gaining multi-sector traction in Latin America

Environmental management technology company Envirosuite Limited (ASX:EVS) (‘Envirosuite’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that it has sold a new platform subscription to agriculture company Sopraval S.A. (‘Sopraval’).

The subscription is both the Company’s first in Chile and its first major contract with a client in the agriculture sector. Annualised recurring revenue of the contract, which was won through Envirosuite’s newly established office in Santiago, is A$200,000, on an initial two-year term, making it one of Envirosuite’s largest on-going subscriptions to date worldwide.

This sale both validates Envirosuite’s world-leading platform in the agricultural sector as well as further justifying the strategic purchase of the assets of Odotech Inc. (‘Odotech’) in December 2017 which provided for the Company’s fast-tracked entry into the Latin American market – refer ASX Announcement 21 December 2018.

Sopraval is one of the world’s largest producers of poultry. Envirosuite’s technology will initially be installed at five of Sopraval’s fifty turkey farm sites, with the Company’s Environmental Compliance and Impact Modelling solutions enabling the client to better monitor current conditions and anticipate and manage impacts. The Incident Intelligence solution will also be used to help manage the client’s interaction with the local community.

Further to the above details and in accordance with ASX disclosure requirements, the Company confirms that all material conditions have been agreed in writing and that formal contract signing is due to be completed during the month of July 2018.

Sopraval Environment and Sustainability Manager, Jorge Dumont “We are very happy to be transitioning to the Envirosuite platform. The ability for us to use Envirosuite’s solution across our sites and get access to all relevant environmental information was a key differentiator for us.”

Envirosuite CEO Peter White: “This marks another major contract win as the sales momentum builds across the group, and this particular win is strategically important for Envirosuite as it opens up a new industry sector and geographic market of opportunities for us to explore. It also validates our decision to buy Odotech, further increasing our client base. We are looking to further expand, not only in agriculture, but also in the mining sector in Chile and other Latin American countries.”
