La Demajagua sulphide gold-silver deposit is located on the Isle of Youth in southwest Cuba, approximately 60 kilometers (km) off the southwest coast. The El Pilar copper-gold porphyry deposit has approximately 60 meters (m) to 80 m, overlying oxide deposit with high grade gold and copper domains. Its exploration projects include El Pilar Concession and Sierra Maestra Copper Belt. The El Pilar, Gaspar, and San Nicholas porphyry deposits are located within the 17,800 hectares (ha) El Pilar concession near Ciego de Avila in central Cuba and are individual intrusions with the potential for multiple copper-gold discoveries.
