Thanks for coming back mate; I am a zero on this stuff but it intrigued me enough to go back and look at 11/10/07. With what is easy to get off the web the pattern at that time indicates it took about 3 months to form what also looks like a rough head and shoulders.
If you compare the pattern from then with now this is what a fool like myself sees.
Timing - 7years-very interesting.
Top pattern-not there yet-as you say where is the new shoulder?
Top range looks like 3 times hit over 1500 so that suggests a 76 point head. I assume that at 2119 the head is bigger say up to 100 points.
thus if I thought you were a genius? is that how they spell it-I am now looking for S&P to drop back much more eg another 40 [maybe this friday] and then finish the shoulder back up to say 2080-??<> but also over time [maybe 23/4-based on others I have been reading].
There you go a painers view of things..??? I now understand your "consternation".
