    Moorookamick just to clarify, Freemasons do not consider Freemasonry a religion although it's members do have to have a belief in a 'supreme being'. The Grand Lodge of Singapore for instance has seven sacred volumes (Bibles) representing seven particular religions of its members. Freemason Lodges to not receive the tax exclusions or concessions associated with religious organisations. The only exception is their 100% charitable arms such as the Foundation which has to meet strict statutory requirements in funding and distribution of funds.
