I have made up my mind up. Its might be you that is confused or biased.
I wish for it to be treated as free a market as possible, if it had been treated more as a free market asset there probably be less affordability issues. Having laws and policies with incentives for this and for that is not a free market, negative gearing and tax laws favoring real estate assets is an area that needs to be fixed.
You 'solution' will just make things worst and further complicate an already complicated tax system. And how is forcing people to do things a free market? Keep thinking...
