in case you start clinging to unproven superstitions about the will being some kind of lasting eternal sacred thing or soul, Buddha taught that the will is also a conditioned, impermanent, selfless phenomena; that its arising (functioning) & passing has been experienced & discerned
my point here is to not assert Buddha was right or wrong. my point here is to merely explain his view about the will (intentional thought)
in his most extreme teaching about the will, he allegedly said:
