    Read the CTP good oil conference presentation about east coast gas requirements.
    Also - The LNG trains aren't going anywhere - they are now built and will need gas to survive. They might find it harder in this lower price environment but you don't build $200b of infrastructure and then shut it down. They will need large qtys of gas and as per the STX presentations they will target the largest resources with the lowest cost of production - right where STX are positioning themselves.

    Environmental issues will continue to be a large factor for many projects closer to the coast but the cooper should be largely unaffected.

    Bureaucrats putting their thumb on things again.....although most on the CTP thread seem to suggest this will not be a significant delay (6 months perhaps).
    But the prospect of having an east coast gas supply coming out of the NT is not going to step in the way of STX's plans anytime soon I suspect.
