imo, there is a serious point in there.

This bloke was a complete nutter and would have done 'something' anyway.

So, personally I think it is probably very arguable - that if he had NO access to guns - he may well have built a bomb

and, that bomb could well have killed all in the cafe.

Now, on the surface, even to me - that sounds like a stupid argument ------------- but, the fact is - that argument is probably correct.

Anyway - for me - the point of this whole silly event is that --------------- forget the bloody gun ----

in this case it is crystal clear where the fault lies ----------------------- us.

    The system fully failed.

This bloke should NEVER have been here in the first place - he should have been given the boot out of Australia the first time he transgressed the law -------------- and he CERTAINLY should have been in jail if he was in the country.

And, if he had been ejected from Australia - or in jail -------------- the gun would have been just sitting quietly in a cupboard somewhere, minding it's own business.

Thank god, this man didn't build a bomb.

What we should be all doing right now is to be pressuring our politicians to make it so that if there are any more twerps like this hanging around - they should be gone ---------- one way or another.

And, we know for sure there is one who admits to being a terrorist openly - and is charged with murder and is out on bail ------------- for some completely stupid reason - and that one is his partner.

How in the name of god are we allowing that to happen.

Why, in the name of god would we worry about a few shotties in the community when we have allowed the enemy to walk our streets -------------------- THAT is where the danger is - not a shotgun in a cupboard.

The other risk here is that the gun will go on trial and railroad the argument away from the true culprit --------- the system - the system that allowed this to happen should go on trial and should be found guilty and should be fixed.

In the Tasmania massacre - the gun went to trial, Bryant went to court, but the system got off scott free - and it was the system AGAIN that was the failure - and not a bloody thing was done about it.

(Bryant had looked for mental assistance days prior and was turned away).

Let's not derail from the true culprit again by putting the gun on trial --------- the system that let allowed this prat freedom is the true culprit.

    have a great day

    Pinto
