Hi All,
Here's my 2.0c *get it?
M4L, you have annoyed most on this page for what IMO are probably good observations. You clearly have good knowledge of the ASX, and have a keen interest in it (judging by the number of posts if nothing else). People need to be more objective, and not take things personally. This is money, and therefore is business. not personal.
I on the other hand have enjoyed M4Ls posts as well as others, as I am new to the whole shares business, and other than being a bit more skeptical for future investments, have picked up some knowledge and ideas of things to watch for. This is only the 3rd stock I have bought. I was profitable in the previous 2, but only because I got in early and sold at the right time. I learned loyalty doesnt pay on the ASX, as both those stocks have since fallen - luckily after I got out.
If I am honest, I regret buying BSR, as it has tied me up for some time now, preventing me from looking at better short term options, and has killed alot of my interest in shares due to it's stagnant state. I didn't do enough research before I bought in (my fault), and got caught up in the hype around this stock, and bought at the higher end back in June.
The company has not met it's targets since then, and communication has been dreadful, other than Chinese whispers which while appreciated, have yet to offer any substance. BSR have also further diluted shares with the 2.2c offer, and all this has helped to drop the share price. All I/We holders can do now is hang on for the 50/50 gamble that BSR can pull it out of the bag, and maybe get my money back, or else hold on and write it off as a tax loss.
so... Love the banter on the page, but also like the skeptical posts that ask the hard questions. Nothing wrong with technical minded questions / posts, that way we could all benefit from each others experience. I will sing BSR praises from the roof tops if/when the pull the finger.. or maybe just sell and never look back, but until then I will sit back and wait.. as will we all!
