Where I live is my home and is worth nothing unless I decide to sell it (in fact it costs me money to live in my home), my house on the other hand is now considered an asset even though I don't want to sell it - maybe it's sentimental? I'll put that logic to my wife - that I now consider her an asset to be bought and sold as a commodity - are humans assets? It's a pity it's just all about money - no sentiment, no heart, no belonging, no identity other than the almighty $$$$.
