There is still the bankruptcy case that SUDA have against Sims to recover costs. Not sure where that one is, but it went to Supreme months ago. They can't lose, but I'm guessing they won't get anything back and it will cost a lot as they have high-flyers Bennett & Co to represent them. The upside is that SUDA will win and in effect ensure that Sims cannot come back again (given his age). I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I do wonder whether it would have gone so far and cost so much if they had attempted to 'settle' with him. They never did that I can see, and he lost at Magistrate's court level, so if they had thrown a couple of 000's at him then he may have left them alone? And if you look at Sud's financials over the last three years, the total for legals is nearly $700,000 just for a single year, nearly $400,000 for the following year, etc. This seems more about personalities and getting so very personal so very quick on both sides. Vitriol is not a healthy thing (psychologically or financially).
Then there is the Federal court action against Westcoast that started months ago as well, which no-one seems to know anything about. I couldn't access the documents from the court website at the time and haven't tried since. But definitely different players and a different story.

Where do you go to access the documents you have accessed on Sims Kippax? Might be a sequel for your Monty Python
