Manager - Investor Relations
Avanco Resources Limited (ASX: AVB) is a Brazilian focused producing mining company with projects located in the world class Carajás Mineral Province in northern Brazil. Avanco produces copper-gold from the operating high grade Antas Mine, whilst it is also in the process of developing the Pedra Branca copper-gold project, and exploring/acquiring new metal projects.
We are currently seeking a highly talented Manager - Investor Relations, to take ownership of the company's image and create a unique brand as part of a complete IR package, starting from a blank canvass.
Experience/Qualifications: +10 years of industry relevant investor relations experience (public company/consulting agency/broking group, for example), with a proven track record of successful outcomes. A relevant tertiary qualification is required, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship-building skills, appropriate IT skills, and the ability to collaborate with the executive team
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive Investor Relations plan and Marketing Strategy
- Serves as the key point of contact for the investment community
- Creates initiatives to target the optimum type and mix of shareholders
- Creates presentations, press releases and other relevant IR material to promote the company
- Is a key part of representing the company... to analysts, brokers and investors, at promotional events or in the media
- Organises/attends conferences, road shows and investor meetings
- Manages and develops the company's brand, image, presence and perception, both in hard print and digital media
- Provides feedback to the executive team regarding the investment community's view of the company, its management and performance
Reporting to the Executive, this is full time role and applicants must be willing to travel (domestic and international) up to 50% of the time
