Can you be more specific? Why for example, has paracetamol prescribed for a headache, pain generally and fevers for over sixty years now without the mechanism of its action being known? Is that biology, or trial and error?
Where is the science that determines if it is better to treat, say, a prostate tumour with chemo, radiation or excision? If there was any science, would there not be agreement between oncologists, surgeons and radiologists that patient A should be radiated, B go under the knife and C receive chemo, rather than all competing for the jobs because their's is the best option?
