Let's look at progress with the JJ5TV music competition. Five specific facts were reported to ASX by GCN. They are:

    10 Oct 2013
GCN announces plans for the music competition in China.

    29 November 2013
"JJ5 China will be launched in March 2014 for the first season with the finale to be held in September 2014 at a Jermajesty Hotels & Resorts property."

    14 Feb 2014
"Based on progress reported to date, Go JLJ is confident that prior to commencement of the Competition, major brand-name sponsors will have been secured."

    4 April 2014
"GoConnect Ltd is pleased to advise that Go JLJ Entertainment Pty Ltd (40% owned by GoConnect), has commenced publishing contestant video entries this week on http://www.jj5tv.com  ."

    13th June 2014
We are told the website is now http://www.gojljentertainment.com

There seem to be major discrepancies between GCN's past enthusing and the apparent lack of any progress towards bringing on this competition in September 2014.

    1. Which Jermajesty Hotels & Resorts property exists to hold the competition in?

    2. What sponsors have been secured? It seemed for a while that Pepsi was secured, because of the inclusion of Pepsi in a video of Jermaine Jackson. However that video has been replaced by one that shows him clutching no Pepsi can and in which he does not mention Pepsi's name. No other sponsors have been reported, so far as I know.

    3. The published contestant videos are few and, in my opinion, their quality is pathetic. If you visit http://www.gojljentertainment.com/  the four contestants (who have not been changed for weeks) are said to represent 'JJ5TV Recent Uploads'. Yet at http://www.gojljentertainment.com/full_video.html  the same pathetic four are said to represent 'JJ5TV Popular Uploads'. If those two claims are both true, then heaven help GCN, IMO.

I can't help thinking that there will be no finale in September because there are no serious contestants and no sponsors. I think GCN should tell us what is (or is not) going on?

And why doesn't ASX ask what is (or is not) going on? After all, the announcement on 10 Oct 2013 was immediately followed by a major jump in the shareprice of GCN. And the competition was suggested as an explanation by GCN in its answer to the ASX's speeding ticket.
