So reckon buys into MLB and says its not a takeover , What sense is there in Reckon buying this stack unless its interested in MLB.

imo Melbourne IT will be taken over within 6months by perhaps reckon but there are many players out there who like to buy the business. 8% FF yield and a possibly takeover play somewhere over $2.50 a share.

I reckon that Reckon reckons its a bargain.

Not sure why they would make this announcement if they were looking to takeover, as below the 5% level to declare. Maybe a longer term possibility for them.

I bought more MLB recently as like them at around current levels and hoping their recent investments will trickle into profit growth as we move into 2012.

RKN is trading on almost twice an enterprise value compared to MLB . I think their strategy is to say to MLB either we resell your products or we will offer our overpriced shares for your cheap company. MLB should have no problem finding a buyer when its trading at half the enterprise value compared to the sector.
