Forpeatsake, while I agree the extended production test should have given some indication of what was to come, 4 months is not a long time, nor is there ever a guarantee that issues will be found early on.
Of course it is disappointing that Surprise is not producing as expected, although I think you can thank JH for the highest estimates of 800+bopd.
Psi81, if you have time for a question, would they be able to re-enter Surprise-1 or, use the pad for a second well to test both formations? As in Surprise west and east with a horizontal well?
I would have thought this would be a cheaper solution to re-enter Surprise and to test the other structure. I assume that there would be pros and cons to this, but at least if would provide an opportunity to increase production and to test the new structure? (the question is open to all of course).
