    there was some talk about how much energy it took to burn the water in the Latrobe Valley ..


    Water has a very high specific heat capacity of 4.18 J/g/oC. That is to say that one gram of water absorbs 4.18 J of heat energy before it rises by 1oC. That is a great deal of heat energy just going into heating water in the furnace rather than increasing the temperature of the walls of the furnace. As such, brown coal must be dried before it is burnt.

    Fr~*%in La Jolla, how many more millions will they get. Things must be tight to allow them shares below 1c. At least the 600mill new shares won't be going to La Jolla.
